It's already Thursday!

It's already Thursday and yet we still have some more fun ahead this week.
We did a little bit of rock climbing on Wednesday at Briarwood Park.

 We love just hanging out!

On Tuesday we got a chance to express ourselves through many different Art forms. We let nature inspire us!

This weeks water day theme was shaving cream!

Wow this week has been so busy!

This week has just flown by! We had Silly Sally visit, water play days, an outdoor BBQ and the ice cream truck come and visit our school all in one week.

The threes are enjoying swim time and some cool treats.

NO ice cream goes unfinished!

Our owners Bryan and Sue stopped by to grill up some hot dogs for us. There's nothing like a hot dog on a hot summer treat. And of course no picnic is complete without some cookies for dessert.

One of our favorite guests in the summer is Silly Sally. She taught us all about being a good friend and God's love through puppets, magic tricks, and songs!

We bounced, balanced, and bounded at Triad this week

We had so much fun at Triad last Wednesday! We did lots of tumbling and ended with some ABC Yoga!
Check out our Pictures!

Blank Park Zoo Visits!

On Wednesday Audrey from the Blank Park Zoo came to visit the Threes, Fours, and Pre-K Class. She brought many different critters with her for the kiddos the learn about.
Our first furry friend was not furry at all but covered in a hard shell. We met a Gopher Tortoise which we learned is very different from a turtle.

We got to feel the shell of the tortoise.

Audrey brought a Red Tailed Hawk which is a native of Iowa and can be seen in the local habitat.

This is a Brazilian Toad which is not native to Iowa (did you guess that based on it's name?). Our smarty pants preschools surprised Audrey by knowing the difference between a toad and frog. If you don't know, ask your preschooler....they'll fill you in.

One of our most surprising guests was a Tarantula. Who knew that spiders could be so cute!

Some of our friends wanted to admire the Tarantula from a distance.....a large distance.

This little guy is all the way from Florida and will grow to be as long as a giraffe is tall.

We got to pet him too!

All of our little Zoologists listening so well!
